Lamb Fahringer

Programming

Lamb has been programming in some form since they were twelve years old. Their first programming projects were written in Java, as attempts to create Minecraft mods. Since then, they have programmed in a variety of languages:

  • Java
  • Python
  • Ruby
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • Elixir

They have also worked with game engines, primarily Unity.

Cloud / Servers

Lamb has also worked extensively in Windows and Linux command-lines (bash, cmd.exe, etc.) They have experience working with HP ProLiant servers and in the cloud, primarily Azure. They also have experience with Ubiquiti networking devices.

They hold the following certifications:

  • Azure Fundamentals

They are currently working towards an Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.

Education

Lamb graduated from McFatter Technical High School, in Davie, FL. Their technical program (pursued concurrently to their high school diploma) was in Graphic Design.

Lamb attended Pomona College as a Posse Foundation Scholar.

Other Work & Hobbies

Lamb worked for three years at Starbucks in the Seattle area, as a barista and then shift supervisor. Lamb has also worked at several smaller specialty coffee shops in the Seattle area.

In their free time, Lamb creates art and music. Their art has a particular affinity for the technical aesthetic of the early 2000s (Geocities, etc.), and the promise that instant communication over great distances had for civilization. It often integrates programming elements to create interactive websites to tell unconventional stories.
